In the olden days before TV and the internet, women gathered in parlors and chatted with each other while they quilted or knitted or did other work. I'd like to create a monthly modern-day version of a women's parlor where we can get together, visit and converse, and work on anything creative we might want to work on.

It's the holidays! Welcome to my cozy parlor! Bring your holiday cards you've been meaning to write, or a small craft or knitting project, or just bring yourself to curl up on the couch and have a cup of tea, chat, and watch the Christmas tree. Take an evening to breathe in the midst of all the holiday busy-ness. Optionally bring a snack to share if you like; I'll have tea and sparkly water and cookies. Let's bring back relaxed creative gatherings!
