Jean Lafitte National Park - Barataria Preserve
Come to the cypress-tupelo-oak wetlands on a Sunday morning to rejuvenate your soul in nature. A lovely silent walk on one of the lesser known woodland trails in Barataria.
Yes it's January but spring may already be coming to the wetlands. We'll look for blooms on the red maple trees and enjoy the added light that comes through when most trees are still leafless.
This is a time for us to grow insightful and introspective. Before the quiet walk I'll share tips for accessing your own intuition and connecting more deeply with yourself within nature.
Dress for the weather - we walk rain or shine, cold or warm. Bring water. Possibility for making lunch plans together afterwards.
